21/19/08 SAIDIAN Baptism of fire - live on stage - for Stephan our new bassplayer
Sought-after and encountered! That's the way it has to be... The new Saidian on the bass is Stephan Lueddemann.
After a long period of musical abstinence he is back in the Metalbusiness. Stephan played live since his early youth and his later bandmates are now members of Bands such as Pink Cream 69 or Helloween. Stephan (bass) and Bernd (drums) are old mates, so our rhythm-section falls into (bass) place ;-)

Manu, thanks for the rockin' good years!

After five years our bassplayer Manu Glassmann resigns from the band. All Saidians wish to say thank you for the awesome time and the highlights in this era. We wish you all the best for your further music career!
A big "Thank you" to Andrea, as well! Thanks for doing the Merchandise so many times! The end of a musical collaboration is not the end of a friendship!

On the 19th of December, Saidian will support their fellows from Dark Sky at their release-party in Spaichingen.

Once again we had an awesome time on stage with the Metalheads in Esslingen. The HEAVY METAL THUNDER FESTIVAL II at the Komma was really great. Hail to the host and the great bands: Contracrash, Targa, The Mystery, Dawn of Destiny and of course all the Metalguys and girls who supported us!

F**K YEAH! That show on last sunday was awesome!!! Thanks to all who shattered the hall with us! And a special thanks for the "Saidian"-Screams ;-) You are simply the BEST!!!

To keep the "stagefeeling" we will play on the 31th of October in the Dieselstrasse at the Metal Health Festival. Unfortunately Engel will be on holiday at that time, but we decided to play anyway to support the good thing of helping a child with cancer. So our friend Jürgen Volk from Rawhead Rexx will join us to play a very special set with just a few Saidian-Songs and a lot of surprises...

And just a week later we will play at the Heavy Metal Thunder Festival (Komma, Esslingen) with bands like Contracrash and many others.

Concerts 12.-14. June 2008 - canceled because of illness

Hello everybody,
we were looking forward to the shows with Crystallion so eagerly and now we are sad to say that we have to cancel all three gigs.
Our bass-player Manu is suffering from an infection with a calenture (heavy fever). And within one day, there will be no sufficient substitution for the forthcoming three gigs in Bavaria.
But Crystallion will play for you anyway, so don´t abandon them !!!
We´re so sorry about that! Get well soon, Manu!!!
We hope to see you all soon (healthy and on the stage!!!)

finished. Due to the fact that we recorded in three studios, we had a lot of work and thus we´re a bit late with our time-schedule... Sorry!
But the first rough mixes are an adequate compensation... Which means it
sounds f***ing awsome ;-)

Saidian at MYSPACE - back again ;-)

Hello fellows,
on the 23rd of November it´s time for Saidian to be released on DVD!!!.
You can watch two songs of our live-performance on the MAGIC CIRCLE FESTIVAL DVD!
This DVD contains songs/clips from nearly every band that played on the festival and is the new Manowar DVD at the same time.
Due to the release of this DVD a releaseparty will take place in the Rock Fabrik - Ludwigsburg on the 23rd of November. (And there will be a great lottery!)
MANOWAR will give a big signing session in the Saturn-Stuttgart on the 26th of November (starting time 16:00) - be there!
